Many people prefer tablets these days, but I still like a really fast PC. There are many webpages on how to build a computer. You can buy a bare bones kit or pick individual pieces to get exactly what you want. Home built computers tend to have much better motherboards than factory built ones. I buy most of the parts from www.tigerdirect.com or www.newegg.com. If you live by a Fry’s they are good also, and you can talk to a real person while you are there. I currently like Gigabyte motherboards, AMD cpu’s, and Antec metal cases, but that may change with my next computer. The pieces are all plug and play, then you load whatever version of Windows and other software you want. I built the two computers you see in my recording studio. My grandson built his first computer when he was 13.
I found these videos that will help.
